The factory Chevy/GMC 1500 2wd front hub units are notorious for having issues, even when running stock size tires. We designed this kit using our 2.0 race hub to replace the factory hub unit and bolt right on without having to modify your brake calipers or spindles. The Camburg 2.0 race hub kit is the perfect upgrade to eliminate the stock wheel bearing issues these trucks have. Our 2.0 lightweight front hub design has a wide bearing spread for increased strength and longevity. We also use larger 7? round material for the hub body for increased strength around the wheel stud area. We CNC machine the hubs in-house from 6061-T6 aluminum, then type II anodize them matte black. They are available with 14mm or larger 5/8? wheel studs. Our custom 14mm wheel studs are also machined in-house from 4340 chromoly, then heated-treated, stress relieved and black-oxide coated. These are considerably stronger than the stock studs and a great option for customer not looking to modify their existing wheels. The hub-centric center caps help get the wheels on when you’re out in the dirt. We supply them with high quality Timken bearings and races along with SKF seals. The 2? 4140 heat-treated hollow spindle snouts round out the package with all the necessary hardware and bearing preload spacers.
