Garmin Tread® 2

The Garmin Tread 2 is a rugged, all-terrain GPS navigator purpose-built for ATVs, SxS vehicles, snowmobiles, dirt bikes, and overlanding rigs. Built to endure extreme weather, mud, and heavy vehicle vibration with an IP67 rating, it provides off-grid turn-by-turn trail directions, 3D topographic contouring, and subscription-free overhead satellite imagery via Wi-Fi. It seamlessly transitions between off-road trail mapping and turn-by-turn street navigation, while integrating with accessories like inReach® satellite communicators, Group Ride Radios for offline communications, dog tracking handhelds, and Garmin PowerSwitch™ 12V digital controllers.

Compared to the original Tread model, the Tread 2 introduces several major upgrades:

• Faster Processing: Features an upgraded internal processor paired with a 10 Hz GPS receiver, delivering significantly snappier map drawing, fluid map panning, and faster route calculations.

• Larger, Brighter Displays: The standard display size increases from the original's 5.5-inch screen to a high-resolution, sunlight-readable 6-inch display (along with new 8-inch and 10-inch SxS, Overland, and Baja configurations) with improved wet-weather touchscreen responsiveness.

• Expanded Maps & Terrain Data: Adds comprehensive snowmobile trail networks across the Northern U.S. and Canada, deeper public and private land boundary overlays (parcels over 4 acres), and optional support for premium Outdoor Maps+ layers like avalanche risk, burn zones, and slope angles
